Running a GK 2001RB through derect out post eq only

I have a quick question on the GK 2001RB regarding running it with out a load.

I came across a great deal on this amp but need to use it some of the time with out a cabinet (late night practice and usb PC recording) It will be used via the XLR (post eq) out to a mixer/audio interface.

Will this damage the amp? Can I expect the same great tones post eq xlr out?

Solid state, should be fine.

Probably sound almost the same direct as through a cab. Depending on the cab, though, there may be some difference since the cab likely colors the tone at least a bit.

Thank you. I spoke to GK (what great people!) and they confirmed the same thing in case anyone else has this question in the future. Though it would be like driving a semi truck to the grocery store
