Hello all,
I tried a few searches about running a mic (balanced) into a standard bass amp (unbalanced). Only one thread had a suggestion... and that was to use a small mixer. Probably not a terrible idea as it's potentially an easy way to get phantom power to a mic preamp, but is that the only solution out there? Any concerns about an impedance mismatch? Any tips from those that have tried it?
I'm looking at eventually upgrading my current amp (Amp PF500) to something that better fits my needs, but until that time I'd like to explore my options. To be honest, I don't absolutely have to have the mic as I'm currently using a Realist... but I'm always looking at other options because I am who I am and I accept that.
Thanks,
Chris
