Speaking of Neil, has anyone else read his books? I'm in the midst of reading Masked Rider, and am enjoying it a lot. I've read Ghost Rider and Traveling Music and enjoyed them as well. He's really a good writer.
+1....Power Windows and Counterparts definitely my two faves after Signals.....and Test For Echo has some great stuff on it as well, unfortunately it's when Geddyy's bass tone stargted to get somewhat subdued, until recently, that is...love his tone now.
Oh this is great news. Over 7 minutes? And with a typical Rush-esque name like Headlong Flight...and it sounds like we get treated to some old-fashioned Alex wailing away. I'm dying to hear this album so bad.
I have read them all. Travelling Music is my favorite.
I like travel books because I most likely will not get to ever travel like that and the way he writes them makes me feel as if I am there when I'm reading them.
I do, however have a plan for a great trip from reading his books. If I ever get the chance I want to fly one way to Seattle and then rent a car to drive the entire west coast all the way to California and then fly back to Chicago.

Just listened to the new Rush song "Headlong Flight". My pants are tight!..and moist from losing control of my bladder during the massive Alex Lifeson solo. @rushtheband

Sorry I have been unable to post on here as I have been busy with work. Listening party happened a bit later than scheduled yesterday as it was more after 1 pm. I wasn't there but my friend was and he said if you would have wanted Rush albums in the 80s to have a harder edge then this is your record. The songs are like a winding journey and definitely has a more modern day concept feel to them. Keyboards are present on the record so if you loathe them, sorry! He didn't compare it to any particular album and that was a relief. He said just take 80 to 91 in a blender and that was it. Single should be out on or about April 1st. It is being sent to radio this weekend. My guess is this one doesn't leak. More as I hear more. It was basically a text conversation about it and I haven't had really the time to get in touch with him as he has other assignments.

Guys, it's April 1st. I don't think the Rolling Stone cover is real. It might be (I mean, how else could they make it?), but I'm not sure.
The Rock Hall should be called the Music Hall so lets all stop pretending.
