That ain't never gonna get girls excited and dancing in any club I have ever played in.

Hey, man...thanks for the head's up.There's a great documentary about Rush, Beyond the Lighted Stage, now on Netflix.
In my band we would always play R30 Overture as a warmup (they play parts of alot of their songs, no vocals, as a medley) and one gig, we had a few rush fans that asked for a song. It had snowed alot that day so there wasnt many people there, so we played. 4 women got up and danced to it...we were like....sayyyyyyy whaaaaaatt??? It was funny though!A bit off topic.I don't dance. But there's dancing. And then there's DANCING!
Most can go to a club and do some inane wiggling on the floor.
And then there's those who really dance.
You would have to really be skilled to dance to "La Villa Strangiato".
That particular Rush tour was underwritten by Herbal Essence, if I'm not mistaken. As for the Kimono, it was rejected by Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I've seen a handful of you gals who like RushLate to the party, but I do love Rush, from their debut straight through to now. Then again, maybe it's because I play bass and that makes me the odd woman out as it is![]()
