It's pricey. but it is better.
I've liked every expensive vodka I've tried. I drink it with ice, and it's called a Darthtini.
Btw, do not use this particular drink in a drinking game.....
Wyborowa is hands down my favourite as well.

No they stay whole. Of course when I was keeping one around it was in the bach pad days and they didn't last past a week or so
My wife is Ukranian, so I've had my share of homemade Vodka. Raw but full of flavors.
Shots, russian style, are straight room temperature and 100 grams (large shot glass).
Agree Grey Goose is not all that probably like Ciroc, just expensive. The Ruskies generally serve Ketel 1 or more recently Russian Standard.

Tito's is my pick of common available vodka.
Best vodka I've ever tasted was Blue Hen label made at Dogfishhead brewery.

Definitely not a fan of Grey Goose. Belvedere is better than GG but still not on my list of fav's. Next time I get a chance, I'll try some of the wheat based vodkas mentioned. Sounds intriguing. And YES I do know that most vodka isn't made with potatoes, it just sounds more interesting as a thread title ;p.
I do know that so far, I'm not a fan of the rye vodkas. But I still give them all a fair chance. Also, freeze up some jell-o like icecubes and toss them into your drink for a bit of flavor.

Ok, while I was at BevMo! today, I picked up three 50mL bottles of vodkas of interest. I got a Tito's, because you guys seem to like it. Also, an Absolut, because I have only had their vanilla vodka. Finally, I've been curious about those sugary flavored Pinnacle vodkas, just because they look so horrifyingly gross that I have to taste one! So Pinnacle Cake. Took a little swig of each. The cake was exactly as I expected it to be. Smelled nice but tasted like gross sugary cake booze liquid. 
The Absolut was real wheaty, and perhaps closest to Ketel One. The Tito's was largely flavorless, and very smooth with no burn. When I'm in the mood for vodka again, I'll drink the Tito's and Absolut and judge how they really taste and compare to the others.

Slava is a fairly new brand produced in Ukraine, and sold in Canada. It's the only vodka I will drink now... Everything else I've had since my trip to Ukraine tastes like rubbing alcohol. I may have to try and find some Tito's to try.
Bumping this to ask if anyone has tried Belvedere's "Unfiltered?"
As I noted earlier, I don't care for rye flavors in vodka, but I tried Belvedere again ice cold, and it's growing on me. Now I wonder what their unfiltered vodka is like. The website calls it a "whiskey drinker's vodka." Maybe I'd enjoy it well chilled?
