That's a great shot!
Someone certainly likes their 'high pass filter', and no, that's not a musical term
.
Crappy picture, but we're still trying to figure out the photographer thing...

LOL! Awesome.NICE FENDER
I had a guy walk up to me after one of our shows @ the Du Quoin St. Fair beer tent and say : Im a Bass player and play for such and such band. Your a decent player. Saydowrsky? Never heard of that. I thought it was a Fender. Man that thing sounds great for such a cheap knock off bass. I just simply said thanks.

That's funny... for a long time even one of our own TB'ers, and long time Sadowsky owner(!), pronounced it "Shadowsky" until a few of us gave him endless crap about it and he quit.I have documentary footage of us recording last year and I was showing my Sadowsky basses to another bassist, and he carefully studied the headstock and was like SHADOW SKY? AWESOME!
I'm like, no, Sadowsky, and then he's like Shadow sky again. Nice.

Seriously??? Tom and I hammered him pretty good (tho all in good fun of course) in Nashville and he actually quit doing it. He must need more "treatment". Get on that, k?No, Burk still says "Shadowsky".......![]()

)I'm gonna' have some custom stickers made that say something stupid but looks like the Fender logo so folks think my Sadowsky basses are just cheap knock-offs. Can't really pull it off with the quilt top, but the other NYC and the two Metros would work with it.I was a bit nervous taking my Sadowsky to my roadhouse gig, as it gets left alone for periods of time on breaks...then I figured no one would have a clue what it is and I shouldn't worry.
We barely start playing and some guy who I had seen before but had no idea if he plays or not, walks up loudly proclaims, "Sadowsky? That's like one of the most expensive basses you can buy!"
Thanks Buddy.
I must not have been there when that story was told, but I think I'm glad. Sounds kinda' scary.Actually haven't talked to him at length in a little while. But old habits die hard.
(Remember the "shower incident"????? Don't think you guys let a whole weekend in Nashville go by without revisiting that now did you??)
