Great sounding bass. Guy is a really solid player too. But over 9 minutes before he plays a note? Boooo.

I still love my Japanese M24-5 string. Fantastic bass.

I've had mine since 2007 - will never sell it - has the tightest b string in the world yes the world better than your dingwall and your pedulla and your MTD and your Roscoe and maybe your Ken smith lol

I have a Sadowsky (RSD) five string fretless. The B string is second to nobody.

I was wondering the exact same thing.
Black or white is classic and classy.
But that sage green has just enough of a subtle pop effect.

I jumped on a Metroexpress Hybrid PJ 5 when they were first released and was very disappointed. I'm still a little gun shy as far as the Metroexpress line goes, but that does sound really good.

I guess your bass had a true single coil at the bridge and it was noisy. It may have had bad frets too. None of that will be an issue for the current basses.

That bass had some bigger issues than just a noisy single coil J pickup. It's too bad because the parts themselves looked great and seemed to be pretty good quality, but the assembly of the parts was absolutely horrendous.
