Can anyone definitively tell me the string spacing on the MetroExpress Vintage JJ 5 String? I can't seem to find it listed on the Sweetwater site or anywhere else for that matter. Would really appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage 5 String

18mm at the bridge for Metro Express. Metroline is 19mm.
There seems to extra space on each side of the fretboard. Did they say that you could put a 19mm bridge on them?

The string spacing on every Sadowsky I've ever tried was 19mm. And as a result, this has always been the deal breaker for me. While phenomenal instruments, their feel has always suffered because of it. Fender just felt better. Load em up with Seymore Duncans and you got something.
I replaced mine with a 19mm sadowsky bridge (from Warwick). No additional drilling required.
I have seen other TB'er change to hipshot bridge.
With the 18mm bridge, the G string is a bit far from the edge of the fretboard, which felt weird beyond 12F… that drove me to purchase the 19mm bridge.
