I might be confused on this, but I believe Sadowsky 5 string basses are typically 19mm string spacing?

That’s awful wide for me. At one point I had an early NYC J and it felt a little less wide. I cannot confirm this, but it was easier then a MIJ Metro I owned briefly.

I heard that the Sadowsky Metroline M/J
with the Musicman and J pick up’s is 18mm ?
Anyone know for sure?

Forgive me but when I see 1 3/4 at the nut or 1 7/8 on 5 string doc I have no idea how that translates to width at the bridge. Thanks in advance.

The usual have 19mm you see the saddles reach the edge of the bridge plate

The MJ saddles are further from the bridge plate, shows an 18mm spacing.
