Picked this up on a trade, just to move another Sadowsky I was parting ways with. I'm a died-in-the-wool P5 and PJ5 guy, and for anyone wanting to check out a high-end example that has a fast neck like a J-bass, this is your Huckleberry. I have thumped on it a bit, but I much prefer my main player, an NYC PJ5 with Brazilian Rosewood/heavy unchambered ash/1.875" nut.
Yes, this bass I'm selling has a faster neck ... I really could start my 'self-indulgent bass shredder' YouTube career if that's where I wanted to go ... but to me the 1.875" feels more like a P-bass. Similar to how old 4-bangers used to be (for the most part):
Profile is nice and round, and man, tonally I really like how alder has a bit more spread on the low-end than my ash-body PJ5 does. The ash-body has more piano like clarity on the last 4 notes of the B-string, but it doesn't have that same warmth.
This bass went through several owners, but here's the original owner's thread, a fantastic, working-bass player out of Hong Kong, who from his posts I can judge is a gentleman and a scholar:

I've got a pro-tech Gig Bag with this one, the same pick guards that came with it, and have time to wait. NO LOW BALLERS. I JUST MIGHT RESPOND WITH MONTY PYTHON MEMES AND THAT IS IT.
