Sadowsky PortaBag

Hello,

I am sorry if I post this in the wrong place. Couldn't find any better.

Is there any kind souls out there that happens to have a Sadowsky PortaBag laying around? I really want one for my UV70. It is now impossible to get one from the Sadowsky website as they are no longer selling this. If you don't buy a NYC model that is. I would be very grateful if someone wants to part from his/her Portbag.

The zipper broke on mine toward the bottom of the case. I had an upholsterer replace the zipper. Look for an upholsterer that works on boat tops and such. They will have the knowledge and experience to do it right.

I wonder if Access would cover that under their limited lifetime warranty? Might be worth a call to them.

The owner of access case is a good friend of Roger’s, very much the same kinda guy, I’m sure if it is his case, he would make it right for you.

I checked in with Access to ask them if they could recommend a repair strategy, and someone from their customer support team said I just need to contact Sadowsky (which I did first, and am waiting for a response). I'm going to take the Portabag to a luggage repair place in the meantime and see if they can fix it. The rest of the case is still in fantastic shape after 9 years of steady gigging, and hopefully I won't have to get a new one just because of the zipper.
