Probably my living room
Any idea on when a Sadowsky Metro 5-string P bass might be released (if ever???). This has almost certainly been addressed in another thread, but doing a search for "Sadowsky" turns up more than a few threads, to say the least . . .

I'm smitten with my UV70, and now I'm GAS-ing for a P bass to match it. :D

I don't have an answer to your question, but +1 on the smitten thingy. I really dig your UV70, too!;)

Buffalo, yours is a thing of beauty. It's simply stunning. It's what got me thinking again about how much I'd like a P bass of similar quality to my UV70.

Mine is not nearly as unique, but I can't describe how happy the tone I'm getting out of the single coils is making me.

We sound like a snobby mututal admiration society! LOL!

Maybe there is something to that thread about boutique basses being the epitome of pretentiousness! :p

Joking aside, I can't recommend a Sadowsky P-Bass enough. And if you can live with a four...........:smug:

Thanks for the link!!! :) I guess I had come across that when it was first posted, and Roger never quite answered the question of whether or not there would be 5-string versions of the Metro P and P/J models he's tinkering with. :hmm:
Because Roger specified "P body and a J-bass neck", my guess is that there will be no 5 string Metro P-bass anytime soon. :(
