Sadowsky sbp-2 preamp in my pedalboard

My pedalboard setup at the moment looks ike this:

TU3 -> MXR m82 -> Boss BC1 -> Boss BB-1x -> Boss Ce-5

I decided to get a Sadowsky preamp Sbp-2 and use it as always on or only for slap for the more scooped tone (not sure, haven't reveived it yet). I'm thinking where to put it in the chain: aftr the tuner or last.

I read the previous threads and most recommends puttting a preamp last, but isnt the Sadowskg a copy of bass onboard preamp ? If so, shouldn't it go first?

What are your thoughts on that ? And yeah, I know the response "check by ear etc.".

I have one and use it second (after a Cali76, but no reason why I couldn't put it first) - always on and I tweak it slightly depending on the bass. I also have another preamp last in the chain but mainly due to its LPF/HPF and DI.
