Is the silk on the black label black in colour ?
I can see that the blue label silk is blue
I am So satisfied with Black label Nickel on my Mod 4 string PJ bass in B std tune.
The 125T are the BEST B string i ever play/test. The 125T has very well tonal balance to the rest. Firm, tight and focus tone on this 34 scale PJ bass ~ Squier Vintage Modified PJ bass with reverse p pup.
The 125T B has pretty close stiffness as the 100 E string, no floopy at all.
I able set the action quite low on this PJ bass without single fret buzz , 1.75mm B, 1.6mm E, 1.5mm A and 1.4mm D.
Neck relief .012 on 7th fret.
Meanwhile, no single issue on B string intonation setup. Easy spot on !
Since i found the B string tone i looking for from this mod PJ bass, i can skip thinking about multi scale 5 string bass right now.
Big thanks to Roger ! @Sadowsky
Edited.
Wish there are black label flatwound 40-125T on future day.

Where can I buy the Black Label Nickel 45-130T 5-string sets and do I need XL for 35” scale?
