Safari and TB have been a problem for 2 months

TB on Safari has been constantly stalling, and the menus will often stop working. I have to refresh constantly. Often, Safari tells me that the page needs to be refreshed because it's taking up too much processing or memory, or some other error.

Any ideas?

I use safari on an iPad and have no problem so it isn't strictly a Safari issue. How long since you refreshed your cache ?

no problems for me on macOS and iOS safari. +1 clear cache and history, restart device.

I’m having the problem on the Mac app. I’ve cleared cache about a week ago but not seeming to help.

Oh, the app. Can't help. I thought it stopped working ages ago and they didn't fix it.
I find forums just as convenient to use with a browser.
If you want an app that works the forum is compatible with Tapatalk or at least, used to be.

No the mac app called "Safari" as opposed to the iOS one of the same name. I killed the cache again, let's see what happens.

10 seconds later follow up: No it's freezing on the Alerts menu. A lot of it seems to happen on accessing the Alerts menu. Like a "Flash"-type of issue or something.

I see what you mean. It happened to me too on occasions. It fixed itself though so I don't know how to fix it.

No problems for me on my MacBook or iPhone. Are you running the latest version of MacOS (10.15.4)?

No, I'm running 10.14.6 (Mojave) and Safari 12.1.2. Everything was grand until about two months ago when it started getting weird, and only on this site, not an any others. Cache clearing did not help.

I'm using the same setup and have no problems at all, but, I'm also a member of the Ukulele Underground forum and have the same problems you describe there, but nowhere else. After a long wait, I get "cannot connect to server" message. I have to quit Safari and relaunch for it to work again.

Instant fail for me today. But I did quit Safari and reopen, and it's behaving itself more. Thanks all for weighing in.
