safest strap locks...

I generally use schaller strap locks......never took to the Dunlop ones for some reason!


I also have a couple of straps that you screw in the ends, adn clip the strap into them - they're OK, but you're forced to use there strap........

One of them is on an acoustic geetar just now!
 
I have the dunlops, and the locks have never failed me.

I did however have one precarious moment on stage where some overzealous movement led to me looking down at the end of my strap and seeing the straplock, and the screw that should be anchoring the strap buttons to the bass sticking out from the end of that... but not the bass. I guess that says something for the Dunlops considering they pulled a screw out of wood before slipping.
