Sam Ash in New Haven has PJB!

A nice new set of luggage, right there on the floor! Very cool to see that they're in stock at a larger shop like Sam Ash.

I wish they had been in the shop two years back when I was in the throes of small combo gas pains. I probably woulda wound up scrounging up the dosh for the briefcase.

It seems easier for me to motivate saving money when something I want is on the floor of a local shop. Years of used gear buying'll do that to you.

I saw these over the weekend in the NYC store. Hadn't heard of the brand before but after doing some research I'm going back for a listen. An amp that size would be very welcome in my tiny apartment.

Yeah, they're pretty well regarded on TB from what I have read. I was surprised at the weight of the briefcase. A nice solid little package.

I was actually more impressed with the Flight Case. It's bigger but much lighter, a lot quieter (the Briefcase is quite hissy at louder volumes) and has a much fuller sound. Of course it's also much more expensive - at that kind of price the small Markbass combos start to become contenders.
