Does anyone have any idea how much one makes as the assistant principal of San Antonio? I hate to ask about money but this could potentially be a very expensive audition.

Last years contract was 31k or so for about 30 weeks of playing, and the assistant prinicipal would get some percentage of overscale (10-20%?) for holding a titled position.

Wasn't it in San Antonio a few years ago that the local philarmonic was replaced by a mariachi band?

I recall reading bad news about the current talks for next year, something like a 25% cut in base salary?
