I just bought one and I have some questions. I'm used to recording guitar DI signals with a Countryman DI so I'm guessing the input on this is Hi-Z. The outputs say it's Lo-Z so that must mean I can run the outputs into a mixing board and not worry about plugging it into an actual Hi-Z input.
Is the XLR output mic level, and the TS output (on the left side) line level? I'm guessing I'll only need the XLR out, but can you use them simultaneously? I ever use an amp with it I'm guessing I'll have to use the 'PARALLEL OUTPUT' thing to split the signal.
I'm a little confused because you can turn the Footswitch thing off to where the 'preamp' section is being bypassed, and that means you have a DI signal. That's what the Parallel Output is for though. So I'm guessing that the only difference then is that the Parallel Output is a true Hi-Z signal (just as it was coming in, so that would need to go to an amp or another Hi-Z input on a preamp or another direct box) and the XLR and TS outputs on the left are DI signals when the footswitch LED is off, but converted to line/mic level.
Am I correct on all of that?
