Sansamp BDDI masking your sound?

I have a love/hate relationship with the BDDI but...
There's 100's of top pro's who use the BDDI and it doesn't seem to mask there sound, enhances there sound more likely. Less time working on "your" sound and more time becoming a better musician. ( "your sound" meaning "my sound" aswell) I'm guilty.

This is one reason why I prefer the ParaDriver DI. You have more control over your tone ... specifically the mid frequencies.
Keep the blend at most 50%. I run mine around 40% and when I kick it on I get that Stingray tone + some dirt. Great pedal but it definitely has a learning curve.
