Sansamp BDDI

So I have heard a crap load of reviews on this thing and how awesome it is, but heres my question:
its categorized as overdrive but ive never heard any clips of its overdrive capabilities, so how good is it for the gnarly stuff?
all ive heard is it used as more of an eq.

Welcome to TB your going to get a bunch of people telling you to you use the search function But I will not do that. I own one and I love it but I just use it for a warmer tube tone and it is awesome. I don't know what you consider narly but it has sample settings for kings X, Fat tube, Bassman. and Svt which is what I use. You can get more grit by turning up the drive but I don't care for that sound also I am not really into much distortion or fuzz or chainsaw type of sounds either< if that is what your after you might want to look at the MXR Blowtorch, one of the Big muffs, HBE Hematoma, or something of that nature there are several. Check with the effects gurus they will give a load of opinions, Oh ya it helps if you fill out your profile and list what gear you have and music your into ect:bassist:

Take a look at the post your pedal boards threads they are really cool and you can see what a lot of guys are using.:D

Beware effects are addictive :ninja:
