sansamp connection to Peavey minimega head

Quick question: Should I input my sansamp into the front input jack of this head or into the back FX loop return. I heard mixed responses. Just curious. I really like the tone of my new Minimega head being run through a Peavey headliner 410 but will use the Sansamp to fine tune the sound.

Thanks.........

The FX loop sometimes sounds better, but the front of the amp may offer some useful EQ to help compensate for loss of frequencies from using a bass cab instead of an FRFR rig, so you can EQ your cab sound seperately from your FOH sound…. Depends on how much the amp in question colors your tone.

Thanks for all of the input. I played with it this week and I like the sound better running it between the bass and the front of my amp instead of the fx loop but I can't seem to get rid of the hissing from my amp. I tried a humno but that didn't seem to change anything. Always something else to figure out.
