Sansamp DI vs Shuttle DI live

If I'm already going to run my bass through a sansamp before going to my shuttle 9.0 when playing live, is there any benefit to taking the DI from the shuttle or should I just take it straight from the sansamp?

The Genz DI may be the best DI available in an Amp... when you hit MUTE on the amp by running the Shuttle DI , it will in turn MUTE the House PA too.. .. where if you run the DI out from the sansamp, when you MUTE your amp on breaks.. You still send signal to the house.

it's just a matter of which tone you prefer to send, the sansamp itself or the sansamp and the shuttle's preamp together. (unless the shuttle's DI is set "pre", in which case it's mostly still just the sansamp.)

If you take the signal off the Amp DI.. Pre or Post , you will still get the Sansamp tone if the pedal is engaged...

Correct. I used to do this with a Hartke 3500 head and it worked pretty well. The Hartke had an onboard compressor so that allowed me to get the benefit of that since we didnt have compression in our P.A. System.
