Hey guys! Just a pretty basic question regarding these two pieces of equipment. I have the VT DI pedal and I've really liked it so far. I run it with my Rumble and my Ric and it's become pretty integral to my sound. I've been listening to a lot of RBI demos and I really like what I hear, and I know Ged has gotten some great sounds out of it. I'd like to try one out, but am I really gaining anything different from the VT?

Sansamp RBI vs VT Bass

I have the RBI pedal and what I like is the way it can smooth out notes on one end and get some serious crunch on the other. Since I invested in a quality amplifier I hardly ever use it though. It reduces punch IMO, changes playing (or string) dynamics. I've read plenty of VT reviews and my impression is that you already have the better pedal.
I have the original VT pedal which delivers the Tech 21 goods all right. The RBI rack mount is beautifully constructed and has a critical effect blend knob to help mix with my racked head. If it was one or the other I would much rather work with the nice rack unit than fiddle with the floor pedal.
