Good evening everyone. I recently acquired a G&L SB-1. I get an intermittent hum that can be stopped by placing my hand over the strings or by putting the body of the bass close to the Amp speaker. The hum is fairly loud and more buzz like. I am going to replace the strings tomorrow and thought to pop off the pick guard while they are off and take a look at the wiring. Can anyone offer any insight?
