SB4000

I just ordered an SB4000 but forgot to order the Active/Passive electronics option so it's just going to be passive. Do you guys think I should call and add on the active electronics? I don't think adding the active electronics really takes away anything from the bass it can only add considering the active/passive pull. WHat do you think?

I'd get the active EQ if I were you. It's especially nice to have the active EQ with passive tone control, that's what I have on my SB4000.

I personally wouldn't, as I prefer all passive basses. What do you prefer?

I like variety so I'm going with the preamp. I can always pull for passive and not lose out on anything.
