Scam.. or not? I got a real check for $5000

I can attest to that... according to Google Earth, my house is about 5 houses or so over from my actual house :hmm:

The picture is also maybe 3 years old or so. Either way, along with the whole suspicious vibe of this thing, it seems like there never was a house there anyway.

Mine is halfway across my neighborhood according google. Im talking about 1/2 mile here.

I say you go to some place where you can cash the check, and it's not tracable to your account, pay the percent they charge to cash it, and give the scammer the middle finger! Then buy yourself a new bass, hey you'll have some money leftover for a 5 string Ray for me? Cool Thanks jajaja!

You've never cashed a check in one of these places, have you? Do you really think they just hand you $5,000, less a nominal fee?

Nope, when that check bounces, they and their "collection agents" will know exactly where to find you, believe me...
