Watch out for
[email protected]
As a matter of fact it looks like the same person by the wording in the email
Here's what I received after I posted that I was still looking for Birdsong Cortobass C-111 in the TB "Wanted" area
"Thanks for your response.. I have attached pictures for you to
view..it is in good condition and work perfectly well. There is no dent
or scratch on it.. Look perfectly clean and excellent.. it work great
and work like a dream.. if still interested,Let me know how much you
willing to offer including shipping and insurance to your doorstep,I
will need your shipping address thanks"
This was his second email to me
I responded to his first email asking him specific questions about C-111 that I sold and to send me pictures
I was suspicious at the start by his poor gramer but the kicker was he sent me pictures he cut and pasted of a Birdsong Bass currently up for auction on eBay including the back of the headstock picture clearly showing
Serial C-112
I reporting him to Google as a Phishing Scam and was able to exchange emails with the owner of C-112 to let him know that this guy was using his pictures to try and sell his bass
