Just for snitz & giggles I asked my wife to measure all my scars with a tape measure. They are all from various surgeries. Man was I surprised when we added them up. Almost 40". Anyone else have any scar stories?

Do emotional scars count ? ... cause let me tell ya.
Since this a musician's website you will find more metal scars than skin scars. Just sayin.
Knee scar, hernia scar, salmon knife scar...

That'll teach me to mess with your thread.I have three scars on my nose; the longest about an inch or two. I was hit in the face by a line drive while pitching last summer, and it shattered my nose, broke a bone under my eye and I needed two surgeries to cauterize arteries that had been cut by the bone shards (after four days of excessive blood loss through the nose and mouth). The long scar is from the surgeries; they went in the first time, it didn't work, and they went back in the same incision. The other two are from the nose piece of my Oakleys, where they were sitting when they were hit.
I also have a small one on my left eyelid from getting hit in the eye with a golf club when I was 6 (wasn't paying attention to where I was standing and my friend swung; also 6), but I have no idea how long it is. All together they likely don't exceed 4 inches.

Sounds too painful, plus two surgeries and recovery. Sorry that happened to you !
No concussion I hope ?
I got some pretty good scar tissue on a finger. I got my hand stuck in a pinsetter machine when I worked at a bowling alley, my finger was stuck between a bowling ball and the belt that carries the ball to the top of the machine. It looks like a wart, I cut it off with nail clippers all the time and it grows back within a day or two.
Surprisingly, no concussion at all. The general recovery period was only about four weeks, it just took months to get over the anemia.
