Anyone else have this problem? This is the 2nd. bass I have owned now where I installed Schaller Strap Locks and one of the buttons is just a hair slightly larger so I cannot get the strap end of it to fit into the groove. I have over a dozen straps and tried most of them to confirm. I can get one side of the strap on one of the pins no problem, the other it will not fit over it.

Long time user of Schaller strap locks. Recently I ordered a set of the new S Locks & one button is like you describe, too big. Very hard to connect & disconnect the strap. I emailed Schaller. The directing manager/owner of the company Dr. Lars Bünning responded stating the button is out of tolerance & will ship a replacement free of charge. Two to three weeks delivery.

If you go to the Schaller web site look for the contact form.

Received a whole set of S-Locks direct from Schaller today because of one Schaller pin I had was too large to hook up the strap portion, after I inquired.
