Schecter Apocalypse basses

The tension would be ~3% higher for the sale strings (and same tuning) on a 35-inch bass.

It's the winding length that matters, and that parameter varies by brand. Perhaps people in this thread with an EX or a 35-string will be able to comment on which brands of strings fit in long or extra-long scale.

Ah, I get what you are saying now.... The part where the winding tapers off on the lower strings. It looks like some of my DR strings (Fat Beams, High Beams) might just make it. The La Bellas and Rotosounds are a no go because of the silk. It doesn't seem to be a broblem wtih the higher strings as they seem to be wound all the way to the end.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. And yeah, the higher strings aren't the problem. The lowest string is usually the issue.

I use the same strings on my 34" warwick and 35" schecter, both are 5 strings. Ernie Ball regular slinky.

Every once in a while Schecter comes out with something I could see myself playing, the old Stargazer basses, the orange Michael Anthony Model T and this one...

I haven't seen anything about these yet. I can't even find them on the Schecter site. But they're showing up on Sweetwater and ZZounds. There's a 4-string, a Baritone 4-string which I'm guessing is BEAD, and a 5-string.

Controls are Volume/Blend/Tone controls with 3-way toggle, 2 switches series/split/parallel

And here's a closeup of the pickups. They look odd:
