There was a review in BP magazine earlier this year. I can't recall which issue. I remember that the reviewer liked it and thought that it was a versatile, well-made bass. I believe they also thought it was a good value for the money. I've never played one, so I can't comment further. Let us know if you get a chance to play one.
I like it. I really had some adjusting to do on it but it sounds great w/ the EMG's. It's a bit neck heavy so don't use a 'slidey' strap....and get extra long strings if you use the string thru and anything other than the elixirs that come with it.
Made in Korea but I'm a believer that long as it's not a piece of junk, it will serve me well in live shows.
I heard they were great basses for the money!
I'm thinking about getting one. My uncle love'em, he's been playing bass for 7 years, and he love'em. So, that says something.
I have the 4 string in the tobacco burst veneer and it has been my work horse for years. I'm trying to find the 5 string in the black cherry burst (mine was stolen in 2011), but I can't find anyone willing to part with one. If you get one of these then don't let it go. Chances are you'll never find another
