Schecter or Warwick...HELP ME DECIDE!

Ok so there are two basses, each about 180 miles from where I live. They are both going for 375 right now. The first is a warwick standard corvette with bubinga body and ovangkol bolt on neck. It has some weird artwork that could be pretty cool (most is on back)

The second is a Shecter Studio 4...seen here

This also has a bubinga body.

So give me some advice? I'm gonna have to drive a good bit to pick each up but which is worth the 375?

Having owned several of each, and still owning one of each - the Schecter is a well-made instrument for the price point - but simply put, the Warwick is a better instrument all the way around. I'd go for the Warwick every time at that price. As far as that artwork on the Wick? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

Schecter. The warwick pups are disappointing to me and the preamps are no better then those on other lower priced imports. The schecter has better pup types for music I do as well. Id probably be happy with the schecter stock. But would have to replace the pups and preamp on the warwick to have any chance of being happy with it.

There`s actually at least one (if not two) Warwick Corvettes in the classifieds right now going for around $500-$600 that don`t have the artwork thing going on... which I hate because it`s lowering the market value of mine :smug:
