The guy said the artwork is just white pencilled on and would come off fairly easily. Also, if you noticed that it is LEFT-HANDED which is why It's harder to check the classifieds. I was already scammed by someone on TB who didn't ship the product and i just got my money back from him.

Schecter or Warwick...HELP ME DECIDE!

Man ... I guess it happens here but I have done many many transactions on Talkbass over the past 6 years or so and never had a bit of problem.
Back on topic .. If the pencil will come off, get the Wick. Got 3 Warwicks my self.
The Warwick is actually left handed or the guy was too lazy to flip the image? I see flipped images fairly often in CL, so if he doesn't indicate it's a left in the ad you may want to ask.

That art would come off no problem, I say get the Warwick. Those Schecters are nice, but that Corvette is sweet. Plus, like you said, lefty's could be hard find.
I'd say, depending on the rest of it's condition, and if you can get past the artwork(or like it), I'd say go for the Vette.

I dunno there's a few left basses that would look good backwards. I was sorely tempted by a lefty Rick strung righty at a GC about a year ago. I don't like playing Ricks but it just looked so cool backwards.
yes i'm a lefty and so are both basses. Also i want to add that my main style of playing is jazz/blues/funk

warwick. i that is the passive bass those pups are ok at best . I have a similar bass that i pulled out the pups and put in alembics. bass sounds better than my alembic does. artwork should be removable. without a paint job sanding is doable. just put either a tung oil or gunstock oil finish on afterward. IMHO
Warwick owns Schecters, I mean..Schecter basses to me are alright at best, I have one of the highest end ones they make and it's descent.
I'm not sure what Zitch has in mind but you should check w/ the seller that it is indeed the "Made in Germany" Warwick.
I'm no Warwick expert, but there is some writing on the pickups (aside from MEC) that looks eerily similar to this "Made in China" Rockbass:

I own a Schecter Studio 6-string and I love it, never had any experience w/ Warwick aside from trying some of them at the stores.
