Just caved and got one, anyone play this bad boy?

I know it's trying its hardest to look like a rick, but i've played it before and i have to say, it's got a great tone to it. i was expecting a big letdown and for the appeal to be in ascetics, but i was pretty pleased.

Thoughts on the model?

Played one a couple months ago, sounded good and didn't feel half bad either.

Have had mine 30 days. 45 years old and have owned probably 25 bases. This one is a keeper. Fantastic tones. Not only looks like a Ric but it can get that ringing belltone growl like a Ric. No idea why there doesn't seem to be much love. Beatifully made instrument, excellent craftsmanship. Love the Pull coil humbucking, binded neck and body, pearl inlays.

I can't figure out why I don't seem to read much about people who own this. I paid about 690 at GC. Extremely satisfied.

I played one at GC and felt the same way. I just cannot justify another bass.
