So I've had a Schecter Stiletto Custom 5 string bass for about 6 or 7 years now. It's got active electronics so there's a battery in the bass. I've only had to replace it a few times.
I moved back from school a couple weeks ago into my parent's house. My parents helped me move my bass equipment from school back to their house a week before I moved entirely. So my bass stuff was sitting in the garage for about a week without anyone touching it.
Anyway, yesterday I went to play the Schecter (I usually don't play it anymore, because I got a P bass which I prefer for the current work I'm doing) and it gave me a distorted buzzing sound and then no signal at all. I figured it was the battery so I just changed it about 10 minutes ago. Still no signal.
Any idea what it could be? I'm worried that something happened because it was sitting in the garage for a week. I can't remember the last time I played this bass... must have been about a month ago. I play my P a lot more than this one nowadays, but I hope this one didn't die on me
