I have a Schecter Stiletto Extreme 5, its my first 5, i didnt want to spend to much money without knowing how i was gonna adapt to a 5. But i love it, looks great, sounds awesome, i definitely recommend.
I tried out a Stiletto Custom-4 a while back, and I thought it was pretty nice, but I didn't like that it only had a 2-band EQ. The Stiletto Extreme 5 also has a 35" scale length if that's of any concern.
I own one and it sounds totally awesome. this bass is light weighted and it's pretty versatile. it's got smooth lows and punchy highs. if you're thinking about purchasing one, by all means go for it. you'll have no regrets buying it.

The stiletto customs are really nice basses. I've played them before and I dig it. I do however own the stiletto extreme 5 and I totally dig it for it's light weight and versatility. the stiletto custom would be my second choice if I didn't choose the stiletto extreme, but I'm very satisfied with the stiletto extreme. other than that, they're both great sounding basses. can't go wrong either way.
