Steel Driver version of one of Jorg's wonderful cabs. Need to get an exact weight, but would guess that it's closer to 45lbs. Still manageable, but definitely a hefty little sucker. 4ohm setup here, and it can handle a fairly loud gig and is outstanding with EUB/URB. Great for a doubler, and if you've ever not liked that signature uber-midrange sound of Jorg's stuff, this configuration is a bit deeper and smoother. NO TRADES Would greatly prefer to drive and meet someone for this cab (willing to drive to: Ponca City/Ardmore/Ft. Smith/somewhere in Western Oklahoma), and/or sell locally. Willing to discuss shipping costs if needed. $350
Thank you sir. Trying to spread the love around. Some kid and/or enterprising middle-ager doesn't know it yet, but they need this to complete them.
The recent sale of my Alain Caron Markbass Combo (french canadian wunderamp, stinking of strong coffee and hand-rolled cigarettes ... and baguettes slathered in maple syrup ... end of Canadian/French stereotypes) has shown me that a positive mental attitude, a willingness to be patient and never throw in the towel ... and the fact that I'm not actually in danger of blowing my weekly vig with my bookie so I really don't NEED the money right off ... will help me achieve a win in life. Hang on sloopy ... sloopy hang on.
It is cool to check back with your listing to listen to your funny banter!!!! Please throw some good vibes our way and good luck buddy!!!
It's like twitter for bass nerds. FYI, this is the 'best cab for metal'. Provided it's medium-volume, we rely more on our PA and our in-ear monitors, and adhere to a low-carb diet and pilates regimen to keep us limber and supple for any head-banging that might occur during the course of our gig, 'metal'. Real quality steel driver in here as well, and I believe the handles are 'the best handles for metal'. If this sells within the next day, I will bathe the cabinet in Cutty Sark so that no Oklahoma spiders get into the box with the cabinet, to avoid any inter-state species contamination.
Realize that I don’t have any way of telling how many watts this is. Going through my old emails from Jorg. I just know that it is the standard 4 ohm set up with a steel driver instead of the neodymium
I re-learned an important lesson: never throw away a bass/amp box. Nearly all box retailers: "Yes, we have something that'd work ... but the order min is 250 boxes"
