Scott Pilgrim Bass Battle!

Thanks so much for the response! Did you contribute to the rest of the score as well? I bought it on iTunes and there are no liner notes... It took me a while to realize that the "Clash at Demonhead" track was by Metric...

Thanks!

EDIT: @yeggi - keepin' it real on the east side, yo.

Metric's one of my favorite bands but somehow I missed that they did Black Sheep. I bought the sound track because I liked the Clash At Demonhead song so much - and then found out its Metric. Gotta love them. Emily (Hayes) does a much much better version of the vocals than the movie version BTW.

I just put up a tab for "Garbage Truck" by Sex Bob-omb (Scott's band in the movie for those of you who don't know). Should be up on mxtabs.net soon.

That song as well as all the others on the soundtrack are incredible. Props to all the musicians who worked on it.

Can't rave enough about the comic as well; you all that enjoyed the film should definitely check it out. It's got a lot more story that they couldn't fit in the movie, along with very accurate drawings of basses.

Check out this effects forum thread:

Lol at "the vegan's."
Character's name is Todd just for reference.

As far as Todd's effects, I'm not sure that he's shown with one or that he even uses a pedal. I checked during the scenes where The Clash at Demondead plays and didn't notice it in any shots.

Sounds like Beck composed the Sex Bob-omb songs from that Devi Ever thread, which makes me all the happier.

Justin, you should really see this movie.

thanks, but i am guessing the in movie effects pedals arent garaunteed to be the ones actually used for recording, i would really like to know what was used in the studio. Especially Todd's part, which i believe JMJ played, so i hope he knows.
