Screw dimensions/specs for trussrod cover?

I got a bass with double trussrods, but no cover. While I could easily enough 3D print a nice cover, I realized that the pickguard screws I have are a bit too fat and probably long, for this application. The pickguard screws don't fit even a little bit. Could some of you ladies or gents tell me the specs/dimensions of commonly used screws for the trussrod cover?

As I'm eyeballing the screw holes, I'm guessing it's kinda maybe 2mm diameter?

Unfortunately ( or fortunately, depending on POV ) there are no standards...

2mm is as good a size as any.

Uuhhh... a black what? Truss rod cover? What I usually do isuse any ABS filament I have,and then prime and paint the printout.

Tiny screws are easily had at RC hobby shops. Button head, oval head, etc., tiny screws are used extensively in radio control.
