Screwy Problem

hello everyone

I have a couple of screw holes for the pick guard and one for the pickup that are stripped on my p bass and I am wondering how this is normally fixed. My idea was to fill the hole with wood glue and let it setup and then reinstall. Does anyone have a better idea or is this the only way to repair it?

When I was a kid, we used to break off the heads off of the wooden match stix, and put them into 2 bottle caps. Dump a little sulfur procured from the local apothecary, and tape the two bottle caps together, with the match heads inside.

If one were to throw it at a hard surface, the matchheads would ignite, and with the sulfur, would make a pretty good stink bomb

Back to your regularly scheduled program

A while back and In an attempt to revisit my youth, I engaged in such shenanigans. Sadly, it didn't work. Could have been the brand of matches

If you carefully cut a slit into a tennis ball and fill that with matches you can get a similar effect - just with a little more fire. Growing up in the countryside was fun :)

Sorry OP....I think you got your answer, but this thread has taken a different this direction.

Didn't mean for that to happen.

I got another that's goes to the Bevis and Butt head fire,but fear to post it.

So, if you take a alot of 4th of July sparklers, and........

No, it's ALL GOOD.:smug: I'm sure we all have a little bit of deviant buried down deep from way back when...
I got a couple that are better left unsaid so as to not incriminate myself or others that may or may not have been involved. Let's just say, I liked flammables and explosives as a kid and had a knack for booby traps.:cool:
