Without puffing you or anyone up more than is true, I know what I love about Sea Chance is how everything and everyone was successfully captured as it was, not the least of which being Beck's lyrics and performances. Amazing energy coming off of everything. The production seems more about letting things happen than micromanaging. That record always hit me the same way as some of the greats from years of yore. The perfection is in the imperfections.
