Sealed cabs

Fliptops made me a sealed 4ohm 410 for my SVT classic. SVTs aren't supposed to power 8ohms which rules out a lot of cabs. It's served me well for 3 years and counting.

Seems with sealed cabs, you either get it or you don't. Some folks claim you can eq a ported cab to behave exactly like a sealed cab. Maybe they can, but I cant :)

Most of my gigs lately have been on a sealed cab I made myself to see what all the fuss was about :)

Here's what would work:
- Sealed. No ports, vents, resonator devices, blo-holes, passive-aggressive radiators, or other cleverly named devices.
- 610 because it's taller than a 410 so I can hear it, and better projection into the crowd than a low cab.
- No tweet or mid.
- 4 ohms.
- 24" wide for standard tube heads.
- Weight under 80lbs.
- Tilt-back wheeled design with rear skid rails.
- Tolex or Duratex. No rat fur.
- Cloth style grill.

Pricey when you add in shipping, and it's not sealed. Nice features though, wonder if it uses a Jensen, Faital or Fane?

It's our own driver design, completely different to anything else out there. 'Feels' sealed (and if you want to give up some low frequency output (efficiency x power handling) then you can easily plug the hybrid resonator's outlet to make it a true sealed cab).
