So I just picked up a SEAMOON Grind Machine Bass Distortion and .......... OH MY LORD this is a Great sounding pedal. In a sea of Bass Distortions I have yet to find one that has the versatility of the Grind Machine, From old school 70's tone to Modern almost DG sounds this pedal can do it all. Has anyone else tried one?

I've never heard of them, I'll have to check out some demos. Is it a new company?

A new-ish company. Founded by Neil Jason, IIRC. It was simply as a means to revive the Funk Machine envelope filter he was using in NY sessions back in the 70s etc, but it would seem they added an overdrive box to their lineup! No experience with that one, personally, but I do have and enjoy their Funk Machine.

Rock out, my good man!

I had the Funk Machine but it wasn't my cup of tea (it always produced a percussive attack which I didn't care for), but this sounds great. I'd love to see some sort of manual or review to see what each control/switch does.

Have you received the Grind Machine? Please give us your thoughts when you do :)
yes i got it a little over a week ago. at first i wasn't that impressed with it since the cut control is kind of unconventional, but after understanding what it actually does along with the mini switches i was able to get some very good OD/distortion sounds out of it and i actually like it a lot.

There are definitely a lot of options, I found the switches to be really helpful when going between an Active and a Passive bass, I Used it this weekend with my Dean Rhapsody 8 String and... Yea I 100% have found the sound I was looking for out of that bass for Sure.

Can someone please explain what the two switches do? And maybe the knobs too while they’re at it
For you and all the others who have been asking about a user manual and explanation of controls, I have one of my own which included a printed out copy of the manual - strangely enough, on a sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper that appears to be from a home printer. I scanned it in and am uploading here for posterity.
