Searching for a Short Scale

I had to do it. But price needs to not be a factor

So I'm on the hunt for a short scale bass...the contenders are:
Mustang
Jaguar
Les Paul Junior Tribute
Reverend Wattplower II

Price not being a factor, opinions on the 4 I listed (FWIW I'm leaning more towards the Mustang or the LP) My concern with the Jag or Mustang is that they are not going to be distinctly different from my P Bass, while the LP and Wattplower will be.

Damn dude!! That sucks! I suppose the volume of packages handled in germany is pretty enormous, in Norway I've -never- had a damaged guitar. And I've sent/recieved close to 100. Other packages have gotten a beating, but never a guitar.

I guess this means you didnt go for the HSC? Might be a good idea to spend the extra and tell them to ship in that.

Anyway, sorry about your experience, makes me bummed out. Hopefully they will do what they can to rectify it without any cost at your end.

They shipped it in the basic Hagstrom box with out an over box to protect it.

It's also scratched. I'm going to arrange to have it sent back, need to get up early tomorrow and call them.

The Hagstrom and I have been connected! Initial impressions were not favorable, the setup was not great with very high action and the intonation was a bit off. I also do not like the strings at all (that's on me not Hagstrom). After getting the bass setup to my liking and adjusting to a short scale I'm loving it! Really looking forward to getting it home swapping out the strings and playing through my rig!
