Double Bass Seasonal buzzing?

Do any of you get buzzes in your bass during certain times of the year, but not in others? (warmer months vs colder months) Is this common at all?

Very, very common. Usually it requires about 1/4 turn on the truss rod. No big deal and totally routine maintenance.

Yes, this is why you need to know how to setup a bass. The winter months increase humidity and the wood swells slightly changing the bow if the neck. The opposite occurs in the summer. I adjust my my 2-3 times a year.

Last time I had a buzzing that came on with a seasonal change, it was an open seam. Check for those by running the edge of a business card around the seams.
