I know this has been discussed a few times and did use the search function. But Bass northwest has closed. Are there any great music stores to visit on my trip here?
The Bass Shop in West Seattle. Chad Beeler was one of the original founders of Bass Northwest. Mike Lull, across the lake in Bellevue. American Music in Seattle. Bellevue American Music in Bellevue. These two used to be one company, but have split. There's always Guitar Center.
Pretty sure there's approx 6 GCs within an hours drive of downtown! Emerald City Guitars is 1 block south and 1 block west of where BassNorthwest used to be ... they have a pretty good selection. Also, the Guitar Store on Aurora at around 83rd ... tho i haven't been there. I second checking out the Bass Shop in West Seattle first ... Chad is a swell dude with a very nice & varied inventory
Thanks for the help. I will definitely stop in the bass shop tomorrow. I have no desire to go to guitar center. I will see if time permits me to visit any of the other places. Again thanks.
Got a chance to get into The Bass Shop. Great place. Didn't get to meet Chad, but did get to meet Jeff. Also a great guy. Super helpful.
Jeff is a rad dude. He played with Duff Mckagan's 'Loaded' & 'Fozzy', i believe ... and worked at Bass Northwest in their last year or so
