I know this has been discussed a few times and did use the search function. But Bass northwest has closed.

Are there any great music stores to visit on my trip here?

Pretty sure there's approx 6 GCs within an hours drive of downtown!

Emerald City Guitars is 1 block south and 1 block west of where BassNorthwest used to be ... they have a pretty good selection.

Also, the Guitar Store on Aurora at around 83rd ... tho i haven't been there.

I second checking out the Bass Shop in West Seattle first ... Chad is a swell dude with a very nice & varied inventory

Thanks for the help. I will definitely stop in the bass shop tomorrow.

I have no desire to go to guitar center. I will see if time permits me to visit any of the other places. Again thanks.

Got a chance to get into The Bass Shop. Great place. Didn't get to meet Chad, but did get to meet Jeff. Also a great guy. Super helpful.

Jeff is a rad dude. He played with Duff Mckagan's 'Loaded' & 'Fozzy', i believe ... and worked at Bass Northwest in their last year or so
