Double Bass self made dynamic contact mic

This is the capsule of a Sennheiser e 608 dynamic gooseneck mic. I took the gooseneck apart and did some soldering work. The capsule is glued to a wooden plate, which is fixed with sticky putty on the top. All openings of the capsule are closed.

This is a try to go down the contact mic route and I am surprised how good this works. The isolation is almost 100%, there is almost no bleed at all. I can turn up the volume on my amp quite high before feedback occurs. It works fine with a pickup blended, too.

I´d say it sounds not overly elegant, there is this kind of sometimes harsh beefiness typical for dynamic mics. But I guess it might be very useful on stage, maybe even mic only. What you think?

1 is a little blues chorus played to a play along at high volume, contact mic only.
2 is the same blended with my pickup
3 is some arco
recorded directly into a focusrite interface
