Selling an ex's axe. Right or wrong?

Instead of speculating I wrote to the seller asking about the bass and about my concern about the "ex".
Her reply was that they have been divorced for years and that he remarried and moved out of the country.
Good enough for me. I wish I lived closer.
She also asked if I had a offer and that she just wanted to sell it.
Anybody that lives close to her would be wise to make her a offer and jump on it. If you do not keep it you can flip it for a nice profit.

I used to have an almost identical bass, but it had Dimarzio pickups instead of High-A. I sold mine for like, $500, but that was years ago.

Also: who the heck thinks that they can just snap their fingers and have a thread closed just because they don't like discussing divorce? Get real, bud.

Did you ask if she would be interested in shipping it to you?

Well thats good to know.
She only lives about an hour and 20 min drive from me. Damn.... xmas time is not a good time for me to be blowing too much spare dough. Im still tempted to shoot a $500 offer to her.
