I must say, this parade of decrepitude, in which I most definitely include myself, is strangely heartening. I love to see people still loving to play at any age.

55 and gigging on bass for 30+ years, these days I'm gigging more than I ever have in the past.
I'm on guitar in these clips but my wife (on bass/lead vocals) qualifies for this thread as well!

I find this topic so inspirational and motivational! I'm 45 and sometimes I think I'm done. (Haven't gigged in a long time) But seeing you all "vintage" guys (I don't think you're seniors yet) makes me want to pick up the bass again. Thank you and keep posting (and rocking!)

Here I am at 14 before playing bass and now at 69 keeping in shape, waiting for pandemic to end so I can get out again!
Thank you, but maybe I worded it wrong. It wasn't my birthday, just a photo from last Sat and I'm currently 56. Birthday is in November.
71 here playing over 55 years. Sadly with the condition in the world today and going through cancer, and a colon operation. I haven’t been out playing in my ZZ Top Tribute band. I do still play every day.
Bday is 3/30 !
